Being On The Right Path / Road Does Not Necessarily Mean It Will Be A Smooth Path/ Road

When we are on the right path / road with the Good Lord we can expect bumps, pebbles, stones, pot holes. The right path is harder to take hence the reason many do not travel along it. What is the right path ? Lets turn to the Bible / Word of God

Matthew 7: 13-14 says Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The right path is strait and it is narrow. It is a road less travelled because it is difficult. It is a path of life focused on the Lord God.

Mark 12: 30- 31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
The wide path what many people travel on it is about me , myself and I. It may seem easy for now on this path but the afterlife consequences is destruction ( in other words Hell).

Mark 10 : 31
But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

If we are walking along the narrow path the strait gate we should naturally be putting ourselves last and others first. As this scripture says. If we put ourselves before everyone we will be last and the other way around if we put ourselves last by thinking of others firstly we will have our heavenly reward and will be first.
